Seven Caves Army Navy
serve in a nic and nora, martini, or coupe glass
0.75oz Lemon juice
0.75oz Orgeat* (almond syrup, or 2:1 simple syrup)
2oz Seven Caves Tiki Gin
Garnish suggestions: Mint sprig, Luxardo cherry, or gin-soaked pineapple wedge
Optional add-ons: Angostura, Angostura Orange, or Passionfruit Bitters
Need: Measuring jigger, cocktail shaker, bar spoon, strainer
Add all ingredients to the large side of the cocktail tin. Fill small tin with ice and empty into large tin. Create seal with tins, shake like you see the good bartenders do it, then pour using your strainer into a chilled glass. Garnish as desired, or not.
*Orgeat can be made with 2:1 Sugar:Almond Milk. Add a bit of almond extract to the mixture if making at home. Torani Almond syrup also works fine if nothing else is available.
Seven Caves Rum old fashioned
serve in rocks (old fashioned) glass
2oz (or more) Seven Caves Barrel Aged Rum (or similar non-dosed rum, or bourbon)
1-2 Bar spoons Seven Caves Rum Barrel Aged Maple Syrup (or other lesser quality syrup ;-p)
3-4 Dashes Angostura Orange or Reagans Orange Bitters (or other of your choice)
Garnish suggestions: Orange peel
Optional add-ons: High quality mega ice cube
Need: Measuring jigger, bar spoon, citrus peeler
Easiest cocktail ever. Add just enough maple syrup to coat the bottom of the rocks glass (or more if you like your old fashioned sweet). Add 3-4 dashes of orange bitters. Add 2+ ounces of booze. Carefully swirl the glass to mix the ingredients. Place a large clear ice cube into the glass. Express the orange peel over the cocktail, rub the glass with the peel and place into the drink.
